Dr. Michelle Summers Hazlewood
Pediatric & Family Chiropractor in Denton, TX
Helping moms, babies, and families get real answers — and real results.

This work is personal
Dr. Michelle didn’t find chiropractic through school.
She found it through pain. As a college student struggling with migraines, she was stuck in the cycle so many people know: temporary relief and no real solution
After starting chiropractic care, everything changed. Within a few months her migraines were gone and she was off medication. She experienced what true healing felt like.
That moment didn’t just change her health, it changed the direction of her life.
After her own transformation, Dr. Michelle became a chiropractic assistant and quickly realized chiropractic wasn’t just something that helped people, it was what she was meant to do.
She went on to earn her Doctor of Chiropractic from Parker College of Chiropractic (2010) and began building a practice centered around something deeper than symptom care:
Helping families function, adapt, and truly thrive.
Why Moms + kids became her focus
While in chiropractic school, something clicked. Dr. Michelle saw firsthand the impact chiropractic care could have on pregnancy, newborns, and developing children and she knew this was the work she was meant to do.
Today, as a pediatric chiropractor in Denton, TX, she is known as Denton’s go-to chiropractor for moms and babies, serving children, expecting and postpartum moms, and families who are ready for a more proactive, intentional approach to their health.

Outside the office
Life outside the office? It’s a full-time mom taxi — with a homeschool twist. With five kids, most days are spent running from one sports practice to the next, juggling schedules, and somehow making it all work. It’s busy, a little chaotic, and very real life.
When they get a break from the day-to-day, her family loves to travel, explore new places, and spend as much time outdoors as possible. It’s their way of slowing things down, even just for a little bit.
After growing up on a farm and competing in rodeo, she’s stayed connected to her roots. Now living in Sunset, TX, her family is building their own version of that life with a mini farm complete with a donkey, a longhorn, a horse, chickens, and goats.
